These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or purchasing from Spoodshack ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Product Usage & Safety Disclaimer

Enclosure Security: Our enclosures are designed specifically for invertebrates and spiders. However, because these animals are highly agile, Spoodshack cannot guarantee against escapes. The buyer is entirely responsible for ensuring the door latches, ventilation holes, and structural elements are appropriate for the specific size and species of their pet.

Structural Limitations: Do not expose acrylic or fragile materials to harsh chemical cleaners, extreme heat, or heavy overhead weight. Doing so may compromise the structural integrity of the enclosure.

No Live Animals Included: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate specialized live-arrival agreement, our enclosures are sold empty. We do not sell or ship live spiders.

2. Orders, Pricing, and Payments

Accuracy: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if product information or pricing contains typographical errors.

Custom Orders: Any custom-built enclosure requests are final sale once production begins and are not eligible for cancellation or modifications.

3. Shipping, Damages, and Returns

Inspection Upon Arrival: Glass, acrylic, and mesh can be damaged during transit. You must inspect your enclosure within 48 hours of delivery.

Damaged Items: If your enclosure arrives cracked, broken, or defective, please send photographic proof of the packaging and the damage to our customer support within the 48-hour window to qualify for a replacement or store credit.

Returns: Standard, unused enclosures may be returned within 14 days of receipt at the buyer's shipping expense. The item must be in its original packaging with all protective films intact.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spoodshack shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products. This includes, but is not limited to:

The escape, injury, illness, or death of any animal or pet.

Damage to furniture, flooring, or household items caused by moisture, heating elements, or substrate used inside the enclosure.

Personal injury (such as bites or stings) resulting from interacting with animals housed inside our enclosures.

5. Intellectual Property

All designs, branding, logos, product names, and website content are the exclusive property of Spoodshack. You may not replicate, distribute, or commercially exploit our enclosure designs without express written consent.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Spoodshack operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services or products constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
